Wow, ok Finally, we get some topics.. first let me crack my knuckles......CRACK...[ow]... Now,Lets begin.
I can't beleive that story that opie posted. I am trying to think of reason why the mall owners/managers would do such an action. The best reason i can think of is so that some sort of riot would have happened if a Pro-war person saw it. I can imagine a brawl, but that is not an excuse to haul someone off to jail. We should not be suspending the constitution. We are allowed freedom of speech. the questions are how far does freedom of speech go?, and Was it public or private property?
I will address the issue on prperty first. I think when you begin to have mass numbers of people, your buildings are no longer private, and become public. This is debateable legally, but i mean if you have thousands of people in the mall, it is public. If the man would have gone into a store, they could have him removed, or asked him to leave to the nearest public place. If he was causing a disturbance, then maybe he could have been arrested, such as a fight if he had instigated it. Either way it was in poor taste of the mall owners/managers to do that.
Freedom of speech and it's limits. that is a topic that could go on forever. Personally, i think that the constitution while it had good principles, needs to be revamped. or remade. This would be an impossible task of course, but if something doesn't work anymore, then it needs to be changed so it does. I think it needs clearer language than all of this loose crap. I mean The NRA shouldn't even exist if the constitution had been written clearer, and hadn't been changed from it's original draft. And things like seperation of church and state would be such a big debate. i know i am going to get responses, but you get the idea.
true steve, life isn't a yes or no answer, but war is a little bit easier..heres the plan.first, try all methods short of war, then as a last result, go to war while simultaneously chipping away at the morals/ideals of civilization, and hope for the best.

so, other than opie's grounding, mr rodgers death [so sad], and the "war" on iraq/terrorism/evil-doers/AIDS/Illiteracy/Minorties .i guess that nothing has happened.
i am going to keep this one short, since all my other posts are usually pages long. i have been revising and contemplating the meaning of life in my head, and so far, the smallest i can get it down to is.
"be happy in life, appreciate everything. have fun" or "Carpe DIem"
there. have fun
