cloning..hmm. where to begin... good topic by the way... i like the idea of cloning in theory, but as practical purposes, i can't see it in any good light. i feeel that humanity is just not responsible enough at this time to be given god like powers, "absolute power ,corrupts absolutely". eventually, sure why not,but until we can get past out war phase in humanity, or the "killing people proves my point" mentality we shouldn't touch it. in the far future[notice far] i agree that the cloning of organs and things like that to be great. even if it does mean stem cells.you must think of the greater good of society. i know that is communist to say, but to give your life, one life, to help and save millions and even more people, that is worth it. It seems familiar though, i can't remember, you know that one guy did it... oh yeah, Jesus. anyways, as for humans as a whole, there is no reason for it. Mabey just once to see if we can do it, but otherwise no. there is no reason for the cloning of an entire human. sure if your loved one dies you want them back, but so do a lot of people. you would just be selfish, and deluding yourself. anyway, even if you did clone the body, the personality of that person would be entirely different, and he or she would be years younger than you and still WOULD NOT BE THE SAME PERSON.
there is no reason for cloning a human, but i do support the cloning of organs for the greater good of mankind. maybe society will learn enough, or progress enough through evolution to get past the neadrethal state we seem to be in to take full responsibility for its actions. in thois will still be problems, like the buying of organs by the rich instead of priority. and how do you govern or regulate it? those are matters for later.

corey, while i don't like to admit it ...you're right.. by resulting to such agressive acts they have lost all of their argument. i know they have strong points, and they should be used, but by doing their actions, they make it harder for the other people actually trying...
this goes the same with suicide bombers... you're point is lost as soon as you result to violence... i wish they could hear that. an idea, if you want turn the tables on them, is to tell them that their suicide bombings make a difference, and that their leaders should also set the example if he believes so much in it. that might make them think of other means.[unless it works and they do it]
