do you of the blog feel that their is a true reasoning behind the political parties, their effectivness, and politics overall?
shouldn't we just elect he or she whom we think best suited to the job, or even have a self government?

tivn, for once in your life , you are right. an arrow does spin, but the net effect of thearrows spining, is not that of a corkscrew into the deers /animals body. it is just enough to keep the arrow going straight like you said. it cannot go fast enough in its spinning to have a corkscrew affect. heres a website that explains it all , http://homepage.ntlworld.com/joetapley/fspin.htm

tivn, you are wrong once again, i am in fact an archer, and while a different type of tip on the bow does increase or decrease time needed to kill the animal, the animal suffers for a while. even with a well aimed shot, and a good tip, 10-15 minutes is the minimum amount of time that is needed for the animal to bleed to death.
and most people who would buy a gun, are not really in it to have enough thought to have a gun locker, let alone a seperate ammo locker. they are thinking, i can protect my family from the afganistanian rambo, or kwanzaabot. but needless to say, rambo has a machinegun/flamethrower, and you have a wimpy 9mm.
if people don't want the responibility that goes along with owning the gun, then they shouldn't have the freedom to own the gun. this idea also goes for cars, tobacco and alcohol. all of these in the hands of someone who is willing, and able to hadle these responsibilites should be able to own a gun, IF THEY WANT TO. but if not, you do not belong in the near vicinity/in the ownership/ or control of one of these .
and to corey, true some people need to be weeded out of the gene pool, but this is done by A. causing them to be so repulsive that no creature[human or beast] would help them in their conquest, b. just sheer dumbness as in people whos lives revolve around their cars, and c. people who wear faded jeans, which hopefully contain a carcinogen or two to kill them off as well, not to mention the other hundreds of thousands of ways stupid people can be killed. we really don't need another factor in this equation. why don't we actualy move forward in our evelution, ban guns, and come into the world with some of the other nations, that have already[ new zealand, australia, england,sweden, japan, switzerland, denmark, iceland, greenland, and much, much more]
[by the way, i'm saying that they have advanced in that ONE part of evolution, some of them have yet to advance in other areas]
