the world is always turning
the hate always churning
if we just had the lease
to the house of peace
where oh where do we find our hope
in heaven, in man, or even the pope?
what purpose we seek in our life
some trivial, some wrong ,others use a knife
not of hate or of butter,
but one to understand better
to cut through the lies and deceit
to see the truth that lies beneath
what shallow lives we live in school
if only we could learn the rule
hate not
fear not
trust and be trusted
love and be loved
open minds and open souls
those who critisize are just foals

opie, about oil, its supply and demand, the demand of America will remain the same, but as prices go up, or down, we actually make the same amount of money off of it, because of the crude oil prices which fluctuate also.

corey,,, iraq suppots terrorism... while it may be true, just to be spouting off some lines from ashcroft, or chney, or whoever, doesn't make it the right reason to do something, or make it a good reason for anything, have you been brainwashed by your conservitive paqrty to spout off the first thing they tell you is true?[ a little harsh i admit, but come on], B.what the hell is americas problem, as soon as the american public loses intrest, we stop all help in the middle east. THAT SHOULD BE OUR FIRST PRIORITY. and C. who thinks that Bush 2 will do any better than his father, remember no new taxes, by BOTH bushes, what happend, NEW TAXES. Both Bushes Suck[treason],we should have learned from the first one, but even second place in the 200 election was stupid, i mean GORE, what ther hell. Mc Cain should have won hands down, or at least the Black guy, Alan Keys. Finally, what we really need to save the economy is a more communist approach,[hold on and read it first corey] say for instance the overwhelming problem that 5% has 50% of the money and the lower 95, the rest. put on salary caps, say everyone 1 milllion dollars a year and richer, stop their salaries at 500,000 dollars, and leave the idea of raises, at a max of a million a year in salary. all the surplus would go to boost the lower economic 95, and some to government through taxes, due to higher income. this idea is in working, i know it has flaws, but it works.

opie, all i have to say is....damn... that made sense, but i can summerize it for all who don't want to read c-span.
peace and forgivness, good. bombs, american policyies, bush, and congress, bad. all we need is love, coo-coo-ca-chu. i did like this" we both make the mistake of chosing violence to make thier points insead of peace. Why? Because it is louder. People react to it. Murder is sweet and sexy. They want to kill and make love in the blood because they are barbaric. " so true! why wouldn't hell give us an easier way out to tempt us, and why should millions upon millions fall into its luer, say with guns and training, ach- military,navy,army,airforce-chooo.If people would take a look around and just FORGIVE for once, the world would be a better place. [still a good idea]. and the end note was nice, otherwise people would think you were insane or something. but what you said kind of sounds like the cartoon newman gave us freshman year, where the people fought, all died, and it went in a neverending loop. My new qoute for this is " man destroys, Then he builds", it works for about all human behavior. look at everything you, or others do in a day, and it will hold true. it's our nature, but it doesn't mean we can't change it.
and Coreey [kifer] i'm not saying have the U.N. pass more proposals, i say that we get approval first, before we start just killing off people. Tell me which is stronger, a brick alone, or an entire wall of them.
Refiki 10:04 PM
yes, we need to oust Saddam, but we also need to be lining up the future president. THIS IS CALLED THINKING AHEAD. and corey, we can't go in there without support of the U.N. without feeling some unneeded repercussions. i like mike's ideas, but the practical application of those are almost impossible. True, if we lived in a eoutpia[???], where cheating, lieing, and stealing didn't exisit, we could accomplish this, but the ideals are right. i would support trying to change the government, from the oger it is into one that would actaully listin, without evrything running in neverending loops to no where, but of course these are just my opinion, aren't they.
